Urgent Care Centre

 Boort District Health Urgent Care Centre provides urgent care to Boort and the surrounding area twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week.

The department is staffed by nurses from the ward with medical services provided by visiting GP’s on a private basis.

Clients using the Urgent Care Centre are assessed by nursing staff and are triaged according to the severity of their presenting problem with the most urgent cases always attended to first. If your condition requires more specialist investigation or care than can be provided by Boort District Health transfer by ambulance may be required. If this occurs, the patient is responsible for the cost of ambulance transport. Patients receiving care at BDH Urgent Care Centre will be charged by the visiting medical practitioner.

All TAC & Workcover patients will incur hospital charges.
