Visiting Hours

Boort District Health welcomes visitors and believes they are important to the well-being of our patients and residents.

Visiting hours are unrestricted, however it is suggested that visitors consideration is used in allowing aged care residents and patient’s to rest.

For privacy and well-being, visitors are requested to seek approval at the office or nurses’ station before entering wards.

Staff reserves the right to restrict visitors if the residents or patient’s condition requires it or if residents or patients request the restriction.

We request that any visitors who are unwell (e.g. have a cold or flu symptoms) do not visit the facility.  

All visitors are required to have a negative RAT test prior to entry into the Acute/Aged Care areas.

All visitors are requested to use the anti-microbial hand wash before and after visits.
